Payments. Stripe processes all payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us what we need to fulfill your order, such as your name, email, and the amount. Stripe also uses some of your information for fraud prevention, under the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the services we use to run Elyon:
- Stripe, for payments.
- Netlify, which hosts this site and receives our form submissions.
- Our email provider, for sending and receiving email.
- When the game launches, the store or launcher that delivers your copy, but only what's needed to deliver it.
We also share information if the law requires it, or to protect against fraud. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Our host may keep basic server logs, like IP addresses, for security. Stripe's checkout pages use their own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as you're a backer, and as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to 7 years. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time, using the link in any update email or by emailing us. We will still send messages about your order, such as delivery and refund notices.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email johnroberts@foundryjr.com. We'll answer within 30 days. We may need to keep some records the law requires, like payment records.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
This site uses HTTPS, and payments run on Stripe's secure, PCI-compliant checkout. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep only what we need, and we limit who can see it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and post the new effective date. If we make a big change to how we use your information, we'll email backers.
